Lake Tota Located in the Andean Region of Colombia
Lago de Tota is Colombia's largest lake with the surface area of 55 square kilometres and maximum depth of 62 metres. It's located on the eastern slope of the Andean mountain range at the altitude of 3015 metres.

I took this photo from a moving car, about halfway between Thurso and Inverness in the north of Scotland. On my journey there were plenty of old guard towers situated on the tops of the highlands and overlooking the surrounding roads.
The Cocora Valley located in Quindío is home to the wax palm, which is the national tree and symbol of Colombia. The altitude of the area ranges between 1800 and 2400 metres and the upper parts of the valley often vanish in clouds due its humid climate.
